I'm still new to teh smart phone thing. How do you connect your phone to a computer and change stuff around. I did it with a v600 before using moblie phone tools but moblie phone tools doesn't seem to detect my mpx220. Is it because moblie phone tools is not up to date with the mpx220 yet?

mobile phone tools does not work with the mpx220.....did you purchase the phone through cingular? because if you did, it includes the software necessary to sync with your computer. btw, it is done through outlook.

yeah i got the disk it came with but i thought it was only a program for emails.

am i able to rip off my pictures i took on my phone and add them like i can with moblie phone tools?

Everything is done via Microsoft Active Sync which comes with the phone. Install Active Sync and plug the cable into the USB port and you're set. With that you can install programs and/what not. As far as minipulating min sd info, I use a card reader attached to my pc. Easier for me.

You can upload/download to/from the card thru the phone. Go to "my computer" and click on "smartphone" to browse it.

It's slowish, but works.

Card readers can be had for $10 and up, though the 6-in-1 pc card ones don't like my sandisk card.

Use a card reader especially with larger files it will take too long with AS.
