For all the services I try, it says bad password or can't connect. I'm typing the password correctly. I have unlimited net access too.. no port blocking or anything. I wrote Agile about it. Their response:

If you have proper internet access from your phone then agile messenger works, hundreds of thousands of users use the same program with no problems. Sorry we can’t help with internet configuration settings, there are too many variables.

Yeah OK.. thanks Agile! Appreciate the help, even though I even said I'd PAY for this software!! Geez.... try putting a debug mode in the program.

Anyway, does anyone have any idea why I can't connect??

i would try uninstalling and reinstalling. cause ive been using it for a while with no problems. what firmware do you have?

OK, seems to work ok now..thanks!

However, I can't connect to MSN. The rest work fine. Can anyone else connect? Or has MSN changed their protocol once again to dodge 3rd party chat apps like Agile?

MSN works fine on my Nokia 7610.

However, some network operators block certain ports. It might be that Cingular block the port that MSN uses.

I guess you'll need to ask someone else on Cingular.

Nah, that can't be.. because my phone comes with MSN Messenger (official chat client) installed on it, and that works just fine. Cingular doesn't do port-blocking.

are you using "userid@hotmail.com or userid@msn.com" ? or just the user id. i know i have tryed this with a symbian phone i could not log into the MSN so i tryed the @hotmail.com and it worked fine. hope that helps.

None of those.. I'm using me@myownhost.com. It's a valid MSN passport.. I use it w/ my chat program on my computer. And if it even works with the MSN Messenger that comes with the MPx220. But not Agile. Very strange...
