I just uploaded some new mp3's to my LGVX6100. After that, I deleted some of the pre-installed sound files on the phone by means of the phones key pad. After that I turned off the phone and powered backup to find the files that I have deleted are still installed! I tried a few more times and had the same results.

Does anyone have any feed back on this matter?

In bitpim 0.7.22..Go to ringers, data, Get phone data.

Then download and delete the ringers you don't want,Go too send phone data and upload ringers.

I hope this helps

I think the desc remains while the body of the ringtone was deleted. Can anyone confirm this.
