Sprint Handsfree kit with the CDM9900?

Does anyone know if the cigarette lighter portable speakerphone kit Sprint sells for $60 will work with the Audiovox 9900? The cable connectors look OK, but I don't know if the electronics will work.
I hate earbuds.......

It should work. It is very similar to the 9950 that sprint sells. Actually, it is exactly the same with a few minor differences. It could't hurt to try it out. Return if it doesn't work..
