I am considering the Motorola Bluetooth (BT) car set. Wondering if there is any added benefit compared with a regular BT headset?

Any thoughts?

Well, two things that come to mind is that with a car kit, everyone in your car can participate in the conversation (which can be good or bad!) and there is unlimited power available to the unit.

Another consideration is that they are not mutually exclusive. If you are on the car kit and decide for privacy or noise problems to go to your headset, you can.

I have an 810 headset and I am going to order the car kit as well.

I bought the car kit and like it fairly well. As with the phone itself, it could be a little louder. I wonder if that is MPX220 related or the car kit. Really, it is a road noise issue for those receiving calls. It makes me want to have a built-in kit as with the Acura. I hope my next vehicle (a few years away) has the feature built-in.
