Quick question and input from anyone.On the mpx 220 when you download a ringertone,it store only on the ring tone platform.But the same ring tone does not show up on reminders,new e-mail,new text message,new voice mail,new instant message,etc,as it does on the other motorola phones.My question:Is there a way to move or transfer the download ring tone to the above mentioned files also and how is this done?Thanks in advance.

also to add to that above question..! how do download mp3 ringtones to your phone besides from cingular website.! i have software on my personal pc that allowed me to make my own tones. it worked for all my other motorolas except this one...! instead it goes to my media player whats up with that...!

You can highlight,cut and paste to the sound file on your computer,or drop and drag.Whichever is easiet for you!I have a bunch of mp3 files on media player and it works fine for me.Also go into active sync,click explore, then I think data storage,and you'll find the sound file there.Hope this helps.

Transfer your files to \Storage\Application Data\Sounds and they will show up.
