I am planning on purchasing an SE P910i for use in the US. I need to find out if someone has any experience (good or bad) in the Research Triangle Park area of NC using the Cingular network. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Are you sure you want a SE P910i for the use in the US versus a SE P910a (which was made for North American use)?

I anticipate travelling to Europe and Asia for over 25% of the time and I was hoping to use this phone there as well. I was informed that the P910a will not be effective overseas and that P910i will work in the US.

If you decide to go with the P910i, you will need to get an adapter from Radio Shack because the plug for charging it is made for European outlets (round legs versus rectangular legs on the plug).

I will be purchasing this from SE direct in the US so I expect to get a US charging connector. If I get a European one, no problem, I will buy the adapter from Radio Shack (in fact I may already have one)
