good place to pick up an ngage?

I ordered a used original Ngage off of gamestop.com last month for 59.99 plus tax and shipping. When i got it , it was either broken or just one of those dummy phones you see in the stores, ac port was just hollow space and the package looked tampered with, as if a gamestop.com employee opened the package and switched phones. I sent it back and they would send me another but they dont have anymore.

Since then I've become kind of obssessed with getting one. I've been all over ebay and watched as people bid up to the 130-180 range for used ones and others who pay over 200 for new n-gage QDs. I've also called every single gamestop and electronics boutique in my area and none of them have any used ones, seemed supriised i was asking about an n-gage and said they rarely if ever get any used ones in. Does anyone have any suggestion on where else I can look? I'm also kind of torn between the original and the QD, that FM radio would be really nice but the sidetalking would be kind of weird.

Walmart is selling the original N-Gage but it'll set you back $199 (US). That is quite overpriced but your options for getting a new original N-Gage are quite slim since it has been out for over a year.

Check with your local EB games store. I' picked up mine for $69.99 + tax here in Dallas TX. Give them a try. They might still have these available

I called every EB and Gamestop within a couple of miles of me here in new york, no luck. Its weird though how i keep seeing guys in texas who tell me that there are plenty in their local game stores. Is Texas n-gage central or something?

try to get gamestop or eb to call you as soon as they get one in...
i was lucky enough for my local gamestop to have one when i asked about it. it was 60 bux but i traded in a bunch of usless ps1 games so i got it for 40 bux. Sure... its got the side talk thing but i see it as being quirky. plus if you're sweating or anything like that, you dont get sweat on your keypad. Theres also speakerphone which is always a plus!

Might be a coincidence, Nokia USA is based in Dallas if I recall correctly.

I managed to snag one today, original n-gage, with 2 ac adapters, 2 usb cables, headset, 6 games for 100 bucks from a cute japanese girl, thanks to craigslist woohoo, now all i need is a big fat mmc card. dunno why she had duplicate accesories though.

oh and when she turned it on to show me it worked, she got really embarrassed because the wallpaper is an image with just the text "USE THIS PHONE THEN YOU HAVE TO F*CK ME!" haha
