I just heard this from an executive at my company who has had extensive talks with our ATT rep regarding the 7100T. This will be coming out for ATT/Cingular by the end of December. Can anyone confirm this?

Our rep has mentioned that the 7100T is geared towards a phone and regular consumers rather than heavy business users. So it looks like the 7290 would be the better Blackberry for business users. Anyone have experience with this? I have played around with a 7290 for a couple of days but I haven't played around with the 7100T yet.

I use both the email and voice extensively. I HATED using my RIM 7230 as a phone, so I used to carry a separate phone. I was glad to see when then 7100 came out that they finally made a BB that I could stand to hold up to my head.

The unit itself is still condusive to business users that use email heavily as well. The SureType only took me a couple of days to get used to.

I still use it heavily for email and voice and now I'm glad I only have to carry one device around.
