Anyone have an idea?

im using a motorola v400
i have a 40kb mp3 it plays when u go to multimedia -> sounds but it doesnt play when you try to set it as a ringtone....

it also does not show up in ringtone details, it only shows up in multimedia

there is some explanation of the file MyTone.db in the forums, do a search for that

I had that same problem with my v220, then I used p2kman to delete Mytone.db (back it up first!), rebooted my phone, and the new audio files Id uploaded to the phone appeared in the ring styles menu as well as the sounds.. that should do it

you used p2k man didn't you... use mobile phone tools instead....see links in my sig for file download locations....
