I have a v551, and I bought a Futuredial cable, and it won't let me install P2K drivers. I returned it and went an got an OEM one. I already have P2Kman and MPT 3.11h, so what do I do. Also, please don't tell me to search or go to XRL8's how-to, because i tried these, and they don't work.

Ok, here is what I did, and it got it working. First of all, if you're on XP and you have Service Pack 2 installed, that could be an issue. IF NOT, then continue on reading. If MPT works, then this is almost guaranteed to work: Take everything in the folder of your P2k, cut, and paste them in the MPT folder. (on my computer, for example, I cut everything from C:/unzipped/P2k to C:/program files/mobile phonetools) So your p2kman.exe and everything else should now be in the Mobile PhoneTools folder. Then start up P2k. It SHOULD connect, because it is running off every necessary driver from the mobile PhoneTools directory. If this does not work, I am out of ideas, sorry. It worked for me. Got MPT installed, put all the P2k files in the same folder, started up P2k, and it said Connected. I really hope this works for you!
