910a - 910i in Europe

Rich,
I am wondering if the 910a will work in Europe, lets say France and Germany. It seems that from what I read here, the 850 to 900 effects the performance in the U.S. so, is the 1800 functional in Europe or was it the 900 that my P900 had. Am I out of luck with the 910a when I travel to Europe??
