I have seen people asking you to ship your phone to be unlocked and others asking !$40 ! to do it. I live in NYC and if you are nearby, then I would suggest just going to any third-party seller and paying ~$20 for it to be unlocked. If you do live in NYC I can advise you on a place that unlocks for that amount in Queens.
Also, if you are into modding you can get that dumb Right button to be customizable like the left one by editing your mma_ucp and mma_dcp files - back them up of course. I just reposted a 'how to do' that I found on here for us mMode button haters.

as ghey as it is, they're going to lock this thread. everyone here acts like unlocking a phone is a gift of god and only assigned to certain people. too bad just about everyone here knows how to do it for free
