I don't know if anyone has asked/talked about this issue, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the forum, but, I seem to have a problem with my 9900, the screen flickers and flickers back to previous screen after idling for sometime about half a minute to a minute. for example, if I'm navigating in my gallery of pics. and I choose a pic to view, after idling someitme, it would take me back to the thumbnail view. what's annoying is when I'm browsing on the wap, it takes me back to the prevoius screen or gives me a network down,... anyone else having this issue? any fixes?

thanks all for your reply!

Just curious.. Are you using the scheduler at all?

Posted by: hforumuser

yes, I am using the scheduler,... is this my problem?
Wow, I'm shocked by the number of responses,...
I figure everyone else would experience the same thing here,...
I guess I may be the only one
thanks for the reply!
should i not use the scheduler?

I asked because I had that problem when I used the scheduler. Applications from Get it Now would crash back to the main screen, and when I removed the entries in the scheduler all was fine.

I'm not sure how many people experience this, but I'm glad I wasn't the only one

first off, thank you for your response.
I don't think people are expereriencing this since i don't think people are using the scheduler. unless, this bug exists only on a minimum amount of handsets, or we don't have the updated software. i guess for now, after using the scheduler, i'll delete it.

thanks again!

I can't imagine it's only a few people that are experiencing this when they use the scheduler, becuase most, if not all of the 9900 users have the same firmware..

My best guess is they don't know that's the cause..

Posted by: hforumuser

interesting,... cause seems like people are viewing this post but no one seems to be responding,...
like no interest cause they probably don't experience this?
is anyone else experiencing this?

thanks again for your response!

Did your problem go away after disabling scheduler?

This problem just cropped up for me, but after deleting my two events in the scheduler it seems to be fixed. Thanks guys!

I was using the scheduler for awhile before this probelem started.

I find that the scheduler is really buggy. Sometimes it'll notify you of a scheduled event, and sometimes it won't. And yeah, I get the stupid Get It Now bug too, but I've found if you hit "delete before," that'll get rid of it so you won't have to delete all your entries.

I am having the same problem with my phone. Has anything been resolved with this issue?

I had the same problem and it kept on making me mad. So after not doing anything after awhile. all i did was went to settings and did a reset on my settings and it fixed it. thats how I fixed it. just reset your

Menu => security(4)=> Reset(6)=> type in secirity code =>settings(4)=> yes.

hope it works for you.

hi another cell phone brick in the wall
I have the same problem too when I'm inside the Get It Now menu. It goes off just when i put down about 5 blocks in Tetris everytime... . And what's worse, when I'm in the camera mode, the phone jumps back to standby mode when it wants to (about 30 secs after). I have to snap pictures the quick style, before it goes away. Wasn;t the camera function supposed to be one of the best thing about this phone... :rolleyes2

Thanks for the advice. I guess i won't be using the scheduler anymore. what a shame; this is an almost perfect phone.
