Hi, has anyone got this PPC phone, it seems like a great phone, and how much can the memory be upgraded to, thanks.

I've got this phone and it works well. There are several features not on this phone, so it's not my IDEAL phone but for now it works well. I am waiting for the 850 version of the Imate JAM, which is my IDEAL PPC Phone, with bluetooth, smaller form factor, 1.3mp camera, WM2003SE, 3 hardware buttons that you can map to anything.

That said, here in the states, the 4100 is pretty good. I get good reception on the phone part and it's smaller than most other devices. The hardware on the device is rather cheap (ie stylus is loose, earphone jack is bad place and rubs on belt case when you take out of case) but for $300 US dollars, not bad. It doesn't have any hardware buttons you can map though

I see you use AT&T. You could buy the SX66 PPC Phone for less than $600 and it is a far superior device with bluetooth, wifi, sliding keyboard and several hardware buttons but you would have to go to Cingular. Or you could buy for $800-$900 unlocked on expansys and use with AT&T. Or you could wait for the JAM when it comes out 850 version end of Jan05. Or if 850 isn't used in your area alot, you could buy the 900 version now.

That may be more info than you wanted. Sorry

This is a good entry level PPC Phone. Go to the PPC section of this site and there is alot of good info. You can also go to microsoft.com and there is a link for mobile and you can see all the available PPC phones.
