I just got my smt 5600 in the mail today...and i have a few questions
1) is there any auto lock feature
2) is there anyway that when the phone powers down (ie the screen turns off) for it to display the time?
3) is there anyway to get repeat alarms or is there another recommended program for repeating alarms (so I can use it as an alarm clock!)

Yes it in fact does have auto lock.
Start -> Settings -> Security -> Enable Phone Lock
from there you can set how much time it takes to auto lock and password protect it.
