I've done some searching and have not come across this issue yet...hopefully someone can help.
I just recently purchased an unlocked (formerly T-mobile) T610. I put in my old SIM card from my Moto T720 and the phone works (I'm on Rogers). I can make and receive phone calls. I can receive text messages. I couldn't send any because the Service Center number was not entered into the phone. So I went to enter the Service Center number (+17057969300) and when I try to save it nothing happens! I check to see if the number was saved and it isn't. No matter hopw many times I try to enter the number and save it, it doesn't. So I figured the SIM card is faulty since that number gets saved on the SIM. So I put my SIM card in my roommates T616 (purchased from Rogers) and I can save the Service Center number when it's in that phone! I even get a promt saying the number was saved, which does not happen on my phone. To make things even more confusing the T616 SIM cards properly in my phone when I try to save the Service Center number. When I put my SIM card back in my T610 after saving the number using the T616 it's gone again.
For some reason my SIM card will not work in my T610. I'm gonna go and get another SIM card soon unless someone has any ideas on what is happening here.
NB I've done master resets, checked to make sure it is fully unlocked. I'm out of ideas.
