Nokia 3361 Review

Ok, I just got my New 3361 today with my AT&T Free-2-Go Wireless Plan. The phone is crap!!!

It is specifically for prepaid and even has a prepaid menu on the phone itself. It came with a 3361 Users Guide, however, when I contacted Nokia about this phone their response was, "they don't manufactor that phone, maybe AT&T made a mistake."
Then it took me about and hour just to get info from AT&T about the features that it has listed on the website.
It states that it has 25 fixed ringtones and 10 downloadable ones. When I asked a CSR from AT&T they told me that it does not. On the phone itself under profiles it has no open slots to add new ringtones. To top it off, as a prepaid customer you cannot access the websites customer service center.

In conclusion. the only positive thing about the phone is the fact that I get reception!!! But ya know what? I'd rather have my $106.49 than a $50.00 rebate, so this baby is going back!!!

FYI - The Nokia 1260 is also strictly a prepaid phone so for those of you out there...don't waste your money!!

Maybe it's just a bug in the firmware...it's probably very similar to the 3360, so I'm sure it has downloadable ringtones.

That's pretty hilarious about Nokia not knowing they make the 3361. Somebody must've been drinking last night

I'm trying to decide whether or not I want it. Plus that, I already asked a friend to list my 3360 on eBay! Argh...maybe I should just keep it...

hey Darla, if you take the faceplates off, does it look like the 3360(on the inside)?
cause maybe AT&T did just put faceplates on top of a 3360 body, added a menu, and called it the 3361.....

Nokia said that the 3360 faceplates won't fit it. The faceplate is cool though. It's black and silver.

she has been a mod for awhile now.. not exactly sure, but i know at least 2 weeks...

I have been on the phone all day trying to get through to the cancellation department to get a friggin RMA#. They cancelled the service so I lost the $10 in minutes. They said that I cannot get that back even though I haven't used any of it.

The customer service department sucks ( and prople have the nerve to complain about T-Mobile's customer service). Everytime I call I am on hold for 20 minutes or more!! But when you call the sales department for new service, oh they pick up like lightening!!!

This is the worst experience that I've ever had and I just got the darn thing yesterday!!!
