can you make ringtones louder on lgvx 6000

i just got my lg 6000 i am able to put the ringtones on my phone but i cant figure out is there a way to make them louder bc there are plenty of times where i cant hear them can anyone help

The one rap on the phone is that the ring tones are very very low. Especially when you omport your own.. Sorry

First is ringtone selection. I pass over alot of songs for ringtones because they have a mellow sound and won't be loud enough. Songs that rock and have good mids and highs will be louder than songs with heavy bass and little treble, since the small speaker obviously doesn't reproduce bass well.
The other thing you can do (which I always do), is amplify the songs before sending them to your phone. Use cool edit / audition /sound forge, or your fav sound editor to amplify your clips as much as sounds ok before sending them to the phone. I also usually apply an equalization curve to most of my clips which cuts alot of the bass, avoiding the distortion created by amplified bass, and they tend to sound better that way.
After all that, my ringtones can be very loud, and people on the other side of the room start bobbing there heads or singing along when my phone rings now. Hope that helps.
