s66 - hands down. great phone

sure you thing you want a Siemens....

But the Sony Ericsson T610 is everything you would need under $250

~ World Phone (Identical model is T616 but T610 is world phone)
~ Camera
~ Add on Apps
~ And many more options..

So if you do want the Siemens get the S66 but I would recommend the Sony Ericsson T610 or if you dont need a world phone T616

The reception on the T610 is Average.

You will get a little static but then again that is T-mobile at least from what I have read.

I rarely ever get a dropped call.

Dude the T610/T616 is old, the new T630/T637 is more comparable, if even that, I have a T630 but I know siemens S65/S66 has a 1.3 Megapixel Camera, T630 is great and all, but reception sucks and its a so-so model, the new S66 is totally rebuilt, unlike the T630, which is a T610 with a NEW 65k TFT LCD and Firmware and small upgrades

there is no comparison with the t610/616 and the siemens s66. or even the replacement for the t610/616. The s66 is a far superior phone. and i did love my t616 but it dont hold a candle to the siemens.

I am thinking about purchasing an S66 in the next couple days....How is the screen quality/clarity? I have heard on a couple different reviews that it is not the best....Any thoughts? Oh and does it have an ascending ringer only? I had a siemens in the past where this was the case and I could not turn the ascending ringer volume off....I want my ringer to be loud all the time.....

That is the protection for your ears that will be there all the time, since the ringtones and calls use the same speaker. Imagine holding the speaker by your ear and it starting ringing with full volume! Ouch!

Ebay. I bought one for US$200.
