The rubber part (bumper)? on my son's QD got loose!

Near the power button is located. How can I' get that fixed? I' went to T-mobile yesterday, and the rep's there sugested I' get a handset exchange. But if I' do that I'l loose the Mp3 player I' bought for him

! I' don't wanna do that. Any body have any sugestions? Maybe take to EBgames and see if they can fix it?

? Couldn't you bluetooth the Mp3 player to your computer? That way you don't loose it.

Didnt you get a serial code or something when you bought the mp3player? Or dont you have a copy on your pc?

Yeah I' got the registration code, but if I' do a exchange it won't do me no good, becasue it most defenetly be a diferent EMEI number. I'm going to take it to EBgames, hopfully they will be open on Sunday after Christmas. I' m pretty sure they can fix it. Or else I'l just buy him a new faceplate with a new bumper and be done with it

its part of the faceplate, take the faceplate off and then push in the rubber part

Thanks Angel. I'm taking it to ebgames and see how it goes. He defenetly wants his Mp3's, you know how kids are. (heck I' know I' like mt Mp3's too

what do u mean? the mp3's and apps are suppose to be on the mmc and transferable...so why would changing the QD change anything?

The Mp3 player itself is installed on the phone memory.

so it comes along with the phoine when u bought oit? if not u should still have the install file../

No I' bought the Mpr player from My symbian.com. But I'f I' get a phone exchange I'l need a new reg code won't I?

u can mail them with your recipt # saying that u need a new file since u exchanged your ngage, and they will mail u a new file

I dunno, but if you still need help. You can eigher just take off the front faceplate and push down or tighten the the rubber around it and close it back up. Or, if the rubber is messed up, you can buy a new one online.
