LG 6100 Strange Ring issue

For one of the contacts in my phone book the phone is announcing that person when they call rather than ringing. What I mean by this is that the caller ID flashes and the phone speaks "CALL FROM" and then says the persons name. What did I do by accident to cause this and how do I make it just ring for this person.

It sounds like you're in Driving Mode, although that would affect all incoming calls, not just from one person. If your external LCD says [Driving Mode], with the flip closed, press the lower left side button for about three seconds until it turns off.

Turns out it was for all not just one, I had accidently put the phone into what is called announce mode.
