hi guys i have a siemens s56 from cingular and was wondering if any of you have noticed that the display sort of twitches(like you can see faint flickering) when the phone is busy doing something like playing a ringtone or making a call? and also, when you turn the phone on initially, the display turns really bright for like a split second and then it dims back to normal brightness again? and then same thing when you turn it off, it does that right before the display light fades out. is this normal? thanks!!

I have a siemens SL55 with the exact same problem.

Mine had a broken LCD, so i replaced it and its fine now except for the fact that it flickers once a while and the screen is sooo dim, and I have the brightness up to 100%.

Any idea in this matter would be appreciated.

Don't worry, it is just how the phone is. Though I haven't noticed the flickering effect myself.

yeah, I too have seen this, it appears to be normal operation.
