ok! i read the threads on how to make them. i converted my i730 Wav. to Mp3 but i keep getting that error message. can someone tell me exactly how to do this PLEASE!!! by the way. i use myj@l

Whats the Format?(when converting wav.'s into Mp3)

mp3 must be 48(kbps), 1(mono), 8000(hz)

I get an error when I try to download the ringtones to the phone. WebJAL connects to the phone fine but during the download I get a communications error.

Tried that format and the file came out to be 56K in size. It worked when I converted the ringtone to a 8kbps, mono, and 8000hz wav file.

i just did a search.....and people are saying u need to delete the id tags that are on the mp3 files
