I am trying to upload a few different wallpapers to my i830. Can I delete the sample wallpapers?

Also, I uploaded one wallpaper successfully, but when I try to upload others it won't let me. The first successful wallpaper was 5kb, the others are 37-40kb each. Does that have an affect?

Ok, I answered my own question by experimenting.

What is the largest file size I can upload to my i830? I keep the GIF 130x130 at largest.......

Hi I see u are akot further along in your phone upgrades can you please inform me on hoe to succefully get new wallpaper for my i830 (please start from scratch it is for my fiance and I wnat to get her some cool wallpapers and ringtones) if you could help me it would mean a lot

File size can't be over 16k. You can overwrite the OEM wallpapers or get sms unlocked and you will have a "My pictures" folder where you can delete them. Search here for the info or check out the link in my profile.
