Can anyone verify that this is the cable that actually works for the 3595?

Hey guys,

Reading the posts after doing a search I think I may be more confused than I was to begin with. What I gather is that you should use a serial cable rather than a USB one, but apparently there are two or three different brands/versions. So what I'd like to know is if this one is one of the "good ones":

Any help/opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

...there's also this cable from a UK seller.

This one mentions something about it being "auto-switchable" between MBUS and FBUS modes. I remember when I searched for answers before, one of the posts said something about making sure that the cable is FBUS cable or something (don't remember exactly). But anyways, would this be a better cable than the first one I posted?

it is a 3590/3595 cable that is serial.

Use it on WinME or WinXP.

LogoManger or Oxygen Phone Book or
Susteen Data Pilot are the likely apps.

if it is 3590/3510 style. you would need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the back-fin (springs) to enable it for 3595 style.

I used to sell these cables. If you are in the Toronto area I can give you more guidance in this regard. You don't need to go all the way to "UK".
