Originally posted by Shindo I know its to save battery life, but whats the point of having a screen saver AND the clock?? They could have not put in a screensaver, just the clock. Wont having JUST the clock save more battery life then the screensaver and the clock?? |

Originally posted by TeLeFon Personally, I think the clock is a great idea. I never wear a watch, and often use my cell phone as watch. My old T28W was good for that, but I love how it's much larger on the T68i. I'd be even happier if they would add the date! ../mk |

Originally posted by PCDawg Is there a way to see the time at nite??? What i mean is that is there a button or keypress to get the clock to brighten up so that u can see the time instead of unlocking the keypad lock to see what time it is?? |

Originally posted by TheLambOfEden Actually, the purpose of a screensaver is not to conserve energy; in fact it wastes energy. All it does is protect the monitor display from getting a "burned ghost image" by constantly having a moving sequence on the screen. Though I dobt that will happen with the phone, but wonders never cease. |
- you can select to either turn off display completely or go to clock. I suspect that future SE phones like S700, etc. will be set up the same...
