I just got my phone today, and cant get through to my voicemail. After reading up in the manual about it, I found that I had to activate it. Well after trying *86, I got a recording saying that my call cannot be completed as dialed.

Whats the deal with this? How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance,
The Box

You need to dial *78. When you hear the beep tones hit end. Next dial your cell phone number & when it asks for the security code enter 9999. Then just follow the instructions for setting up the voice mail.
Hope this helps. *Ü*

Indeed that did help! I got my voicemail set up, but now theres a new problem. When I hold 1 to get to my voicemail, it sends me to 000-000-0000. Now why the hell would it do that?!?! AND when I go to display my number VIA my contacts menu, it says my phone number is... 000-0782.

This thing is really starting to bug the crap out of me, and I'v only had it a day!

When you hold 1, isn't it supposed to dial the "speed dial" number stored for 1? This is how it works on the 8600, you just need to store the number you want for the #1 speed dial.

So like I've said before, he just needs to program it.
