Ok: i heard it couldn't be done, so i tried it

. I got it partially working and I really hope someone can help me to get it the rest of the way. What i have done is: placed mp3's renamed to .mid (NOT CONVERTED!!!) on my server - i tried just leaving them as .mp3 and it said "unsupported format"; then i click a link i have put on my homepage that links to the file; when i click the link, openwave "prepares" the "object" and does play it, but i can't find a way to download it to the phone permanently. If anyone knows of a way to get these to download i would bow to him/her and kiss their feet... j/k. PLEASE FIND A WAY!!!

im sorry, but i looked and couldnt find any info on downloading files (and storing them to your phone) via wap in the vx-7000 thread. if you know where its at i would appreciate a link, since i seem to be unable to find it

I just got my VX6100 two days ago and I can't wait to put *something* in it! I ordered a data cable but it hasn't come yet....

So I'm looking for alternatives. I used a Russian wap site http://wap.allmelody.ru and I was able to get a midi file playing as an "object." I wish there was a way to save it!
