Hey Guys, I got put onto a bench at my new facility with little to no resources. I am Level III Certified across the board.
I have little help from our engineers, and After two days of reading threads I've found nothing but info on ringtones and the like. Ringtones? Shutter sound? Who cares?
I HAVE NOT found a thing about finding Flash files for dead phones, (There are hundreds), or Alignment software (I have it, its working, but one .dll is screwed up). Im sure someone can help. It's frustrating to keep scrapping these perfectly good phones because of software!!! PLEASE HELP!! I also Find many of these 8900's have dim Caller Id Screens, and they wont stay on level 5 after you power them back up. Anyone?

Welcome to "my world".

I have had a dead phone (NV data problem) and never could find a way to fix it. I couldn't find where to download firmwares either. I know there's an Audiovox support site but I guess we won't be able to get access to it.

What I'd really like to see is a way to change the Blue LEDs on the phone...

I know it would require a lot of work..I mean A LOT.

But I think it would be cool seeing Red or Green LEDs instead of the blue

It's not hard to do it if you know how to "flux". I can have my service tech guy change the leds on a celly in less than 10 minutes :P

I can ask him and let you know but I find very expensive to ship it to Argentina and then back to US.
