I'm trying to send mp3s to my vx7000 by emailing them to mytendigitnumber@vzwpiz.com
Pix messaging is enabled, and i converted the mp3s to mono, 22050, and 32.
I get the message, but instead of being able to recieve the ringtones, it gives me two extra screens saying the attachments have been dropped.
It lists my filename (ringtone.mid.mp3) and then has a bunch of crap and says that the attachment was dropped.
Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Are you properly changing the file extension to .mid
ringtone.mid.mp3 leads me to beleive you are not. How are you going about this? Do you have "view file extensions" turned on in your folder view preferences on your PC?
Also, how big are the files?

I did everything correctly from looking at other threads, but when you send a ringtone through yournumber@vzwpix.com is it supposed to send the actual file or a txt message with a link to the site to your phone?
I got a txt saying that I got a pic/vid message, to see it go to www.vzwpix/com/mlib/getpix/ from any computer and follow the instructions. I did that and when I went there it gave me an error saying the page is temporarily unavailable.
Thanks in advance for any help.
