Program doesn't do much for ringers, but I can update the calendar from my Outlook program, which is the reason I bought the USB cable. BitPim is much better for pictures and ringers.

best thing about it is it lets you add Notes to contacts viewable from my slider, though i can't add a NEW note thru the slider...
other than being able to sync contact DB's from desktop to phone its also good for the kyocera CDMA wireless Modem drivers

though my POS carrier won't doesnt allow data calls

hmm.... i wonder if there is a away to trick the phone into not thinking its a data call.... we have a super old bag phone where there is a box that goes before the hand set that you can plug any old phone into and it can make data calls all day.... or what about TTY stuff.... they have to work somehow. How is a data call any differnt then any other call?
