disco lights

ever since i have been making my own ringtones the disco lights do not work any more on the i730. any know whats up with this. and also what are some easy modz and can be done with out much work.

modz include changing palettes, and adding american/dash dialing and did you go into the settings and make sure the disco light is turned on? Make sure you are using the midi as the ringer.

I have an I830 and would like to know what exactly dothe disco lights do? also, can the data cable from an i90 be used on the i830?
excuse the dumb questions.

Its ok, dumb sounding questions are expected from noobs! lol....anyway the 830 doesn't have a disco light that I know of. If it does then I dont know. The 730 has a "disco" light around the front speaker that flashes when it rings with MIDI ringers. Yes, the data cable can be used from the i90 just break off the middle of the 3 tabs on the connection side of the cable.

Just break off number 2 on the diagram above. Make sure you use needle nose pliers or similar and just bend until it snaps, which is relatively easy!

the I830 has a disco light on the front screen only works with the three factory ring tones. and yes they have programs
