mpx220 full duplex?

Why does it seem as if my mpx220 is not full duplex? When someone is talking to me, they can't hear me talking untill they stop talking. This is very annoying to people on the other end and completely transparent to the the person using the cell phone.

Im curious to know if anyone else has noticed this at all. Test it by putting your phone by a radio and calling a land line. Listen on the land line, every time you make a sound, it sounds like the radio shuts off.

i have the same issue it does seem like the phone is not full duplex

I wonder if it is something I can fix with a setting or something.

I've tested peoples phones the last 24 hours and its not like that with my parents motorola t720 on cingular or my friends sony t616 on cingular.

Why would motorola design a phone like this? If someone is in a noisy environment, they cant hear me at all. the background noise registers as them talking and the phone turns my outgoing volume waay down.

Im already trying to find a replacement phone. This sucks.

I believe that I am experiencing the same issue. I have had a couple of calls where I could not be heard in one case and the other party in the other case.

I am asking that all MPX220 owner give particular attention to call behavior while in noisy places (or where the other end is in a noisy place).

I have firmware 1.30 on my phone (less than a week old). I would like to know if this is typical for this phone/model/firmware or if I have a faulty handset.

I have had to endure my co-worker tell me that my new phone "sucks". I can't handle that.

I have not tested it myself yet, but I would also be curious to know if the same behavior exists while using a wired or bluetooth headset.

Thanks.

I've tested it with my Shure Quietspot wired headset, and it does the same thing.

Ive also had to deal with everyone telling me my phone sucks. The fact that I can play every nintendo game ever made and pacman only goes so far.

I'd like to know if it is an issue with the smartphone os or with the motorola hardware. If its the smartphone software, I would think someone could hack it or something.
