I just want to be positive, I can transfers wallpapers and ringtones using Bitpim over this cable. Can I?

Good... one thing that sucks is for some reason, US Cellular removed some of the better ringtones from this phone. "Phantom" is the only tolerable tone. In my programming class at school, 15 of us have KX414's provided by US Cellular, and sometimes one of us forgets to silence it. When we all hear the Phantom ringer, we all check our phone.... it's funny :P

For the KX414 .... That won't work I believe. Take a look at the connection type... no match on the phone

The original post with the data cable you mentioned will work, but not that second one from eBay.

USB cable works on the phone... 1x Active removed, new ringtones (Currently "King Nothing" by Metallica), new wallpapers

Random: -4°F \ Feels Like -23°F. I hate this city.

For the longest time, the only option for a data cable was buying from Kyocera's web site for $40. Ridiciously expensive. Finally, cheap third party cables for the KX414 are available. I bought mine on eBay for $15.00. ($10.00 for the cable and $5.00 for shipping)

I know EXACTLY what you mean... And to think I spent the amount I did on that cable, cause it was the only option at the time...

What software should I use with the cable? And Where can I get it? I want to transfer ringtones and wallpaper.
