For $60 one could go to Sears, buy a Diehard and a cigarette lighter adapter and power the phone for a year!
The whole benefit of the cell phone / pda is the compact size, who would want to carry a huge battery charger around with them that weighs as much as the phone? You're better off with an extra battery and that is only if you talk more than maybe 6 hours a day.
I see this as just another useless gadget

Well considering that a secondary battery (OEM same cost as the extender) but provides a much longer usage capacity. But at the same size.
For us Uber-Dorks we could just wear a second side pouch to accomadate the extender.

How about an extd battery from Moto for the MPx220. they made them for the T720 with a bigger battery door so it should be possible.
