Unlock a se47 slider to work on cingular???

my girlfriend said I could have her old phone to replace my pos phone but i have cingular and I can't find much on the kyocera unlock process... Is it possible? Do i just need to input codes or do I have to buy data cables and stuff? I'm pretty clueless on this stuff, I took off the battery on the se47 and I don't even know where to find the sim card. lol.

You can't the Slider as well as all Kyocera Phones are CDMA phones. Cingular uses GSM so it won't work. You could switch to Verizon to use the Slider if you wanted to but it can't be done using the Slider with Cingular!
