I am currently trying to use my MPx220 as a bluetooth modem for my laptop. I have a DLink USB Bluetooth Adapter that I use on my laptop and I am able to discover the MPx220 and bond with it but I have not been able to figure out how to get the dial up connection to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm recopying a previous reply I posted (because I didn't know how to insert a link):
After many hours of tinkering, I've gotten my MPX220 to work as a modem over Bluetooth with both (a) laptop with WinXP and (b) HP 4150. For the laptop, I had to use a bluetooth modem driver from my Siemens S55 with a registery modification for the initialization. For the HP 4150, the only way I've managed to get it to connect is to configure it to bring up a terminal window that I use to enter "atd*99#" - won't work any other way. So, keep trying.
After days of effort, I was not able to get it to work over bluetooth or IR with a laptop using the drivers that come with it (they appear to be hard coded to only support the USB cable).
In the future, I intend to try it over IR using a Windows 98 PC.
Generally, I find the support from Motorola regarding data connectivity to be very pathetic as compared to other vendors such as Siemens.
