I have the 90, and they are essentially the same phone. I say go for either the one with the styling you prefer or the cheapest.

THE 89 has a sub vga ccd camera while the 90 has a vga cmos camera. the 90 will give you larger lower quality pics and the 89 will give you smaller but sharper pic

thanks, and i assume they both have the same reception strength (im in southern california). i will get the 89 for better picture. i only want the 90 for the lighted ring around the secendary lcd.

the picture may be better, but its little, its not even vga size.

true, but if i want good pictures, i'll just just a digital camera. it should be good enough to sms around and it will be faster to send and recive (i think).
