Phantom Faceplate

My dad has a Phantom KE413. I bought him a faceplate for christmas and can' figure out how to get the front piece on. ANy help is appreciated. The user guide book that came with it is no help.

I thought you could only take off the trim ring without dismantling the phone. I just painted my trim ring with metalic automotive paint. I've had some compliments.

Well Hes got some rings but we want to change the whole thing. I had a nokia you had to take apart and unscrew to change. We are willing to take the Phantom upart if I knew how to. Anyone know??

Alright, saw this on a cellphone accessories page that you need an allen wrench. Look at the back of your phone by the antenna and below the battery door/panel. You'll see four allen screws, then there are at least two more on the inside which one is covered with a small strip of tape saying, "Void if tampered."

After that, I'm not sure, but since I know that now, I'll probably paint mine, so if I do, I'll let you know, but it might be a week or so until I do that.
