I've just upgraded phones (3390 to 6670) and was wondering if there is a way to get my text messages from my old Inbox to my new one? I'm hoping the messages were saved somewhere on the SIM and that I can just get them from there? If not, does anyone have any suggestions to do this, if it is even possible?

ive had a few GSM nokia phone and they have always taken the text msg from the inbox to the sime but it was only like the frist 50 or so if its gonna do it it will do so automatically

Contrary to popular belief, my initial question is possible.

For anyone else looking to retrieve their old SMSes from their SIM to their current Inbox follow these steps:

Messaging->Options->SIM Messages->Options->Mark All->Copy->Inbox

I never saw any mention of the SIM Messages option in the manual and just happened to come across it whilst playing around.
