Has anyone tried this out on their SKII?

Is it fast enough to use on a frequent basis?

Im a google freak and will DEFINITELY be sad if google is slow on the SKII.

There are not really any "fast" sites on the sk 2. It takes a little bit of time for everything to load up and be resized. But to answer you question google does run pretty good and I use it pretty frequent on my sk 2 so I don't see a problem with you doing the same.

Yes

Everything runs quite fast if you turn off images, because then images don't have to be resized by the proxies.

Yes. You can also try the "lighter" version of google at:

Or pipe everything through skweezer which works well for the majority of the sites I visit. Some sites have requested skweezer not to skweeze their site though so mileage may vary for you.

Google is one the fastest loading sites in my opinion. and if you take images off like others have suggested, you shouldn't have any problems. Go to a local tmo store and ask them to let you use a working model, see if it suits your needs.

Something else I found from Google if anyone is interested.

http://www.google.com/sms/

I've found it pretty cool and with the unlimited SMS that comes with the data plan it's pretty handy. I use this in combination with the AIM Bots (WSJ, SmarterChild, AOLYellowPages) to get almost all my info cuz it's faster than most web pages load. But of course if you are looking for a web resource then I'd suggest that google palm page like ONPAWS said.

Good call on that SKWEEZER page MISTA MITCH. I bookmarked it right away on my SK2.
