hi, i new to this mobile stuff but anyways i've been on this site, nexpimp.com, and many other sites and i cant find a forum that answers my question, anyways i bought a motorola i830, i went to the telus dealer and i asked him i want a phone that can play real music like mp3 on the phone like a ringtones, so he said this one can do it, he pulled out his phone and he said this is the same one and he had a jay-z ringtone and it sounded perfect just like you would hear it on the radio or something but then when i get home i install my jal web jal, java, all types of patched etc, etc, i open up my jal connect to my phon, and it connects fine and everything, my when i want to put mp3 or wav ringtones it wont work all i can put is keyboard type ringtones, i go on the telus and motorola website to see the profile of my phone and it says its not mp3 compatible, i dont understand that because all these people at the telus shop had the exact phone with mp3 wav ringtones, can someone please help me out, give me some suggestions or something? email me at thesuper69er@hotmail.com

The phone is WAV compatible. All of your files need to be converted to .wav. All you need is an MP3 to WAV converter. There are several of them out there. Click on the link (Toez's tool) and use audacity.
