Hello,
I have Alltel service and a Slider SE44, I just got a Verizon SE47 phone and wanted to know if I can put the Alltel software from my SE44 onto the SE47? I have BitPim7 and Kyocera PST 3.585. Someone told me this could be cone Please Help. Can I use the Verizion SE47 on my Alltel Service? Please help me with this if anyone can!

you can program your phone rather easily to be on verizon, but it would be a bit trickier to load the se44's software onto the se47....i wouldn't recommend flashing the se47 with a .bin image of your se44. (unless anyone has done this succesfully)

you probably will have to copy over brew applications by backing them up onto your hd and using bitpim or gagin to load them onto the se47 (good luck!) you will probably encounter problems with the .mif file of whatever brew apps you copy as it is supposedly locked to the ESN of the phone it was downloaded to originally...and needs to be hacked to be restoreable (see mifunlocker.zip)

in any case programming the se47 with a new SID/MIN/MDN etc just seems the easier choice

I did what the link said to do but when I right clicked on the NVM.Security and saved it to desktop. I them went to it and opened it with notepad and there was not 3 different numbers there.This is what was there:

My phone number and what evere the rest is, please reply and help me.

i see 3 sets of six digit numbers
434210 (i dont know about the 1069)
000000
000000

your spc should then either be

434210 or
101069

try those

or even try 000000
