NEC 525 mms settings solution for fido... better ideas?

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried mms on their 525? I was playing with it this afternoon... got wap working 100% but a bit frustrated with the mms. Nothing worked, until i changed the apn setting for the "internet settings" from 'wap.fido.ca' to 'mms.fido.ca'
MMS now worked, but of course, wap doesn't work since the wrong apn is entered. So my half-a$$ solution so far is just leave the internet setting's apn as mms.fido.ca so ppl can send me mms, and then manually change it if i want to browse wap (which is next to never anyways).
I'm hoping someone's figured out a better solution? Or if there are special programming codes that i can type in on the phone to enter hidden settings menu's to adjust some things here an there, please let me know.
