Using EPOX BT-DG02 Bluetooth ($39 at Fry's/Outpost.com) adapter to send photos from T68i to PC is not working... everything else works fine, I can pair the phone, send Pics to the phone, synchro w/ PC, etc. I heard that there is a file filter or something on the newer t68i's and Widcomm cannot get around it. I'm using the Widcomm v 1.2.2.6 that is on the website as well as on the CD that came with my phone. I know the 3com users got around this but is there anyway I can get around it? I was hoping to use the Bluetooth to send my MCA20 pics to my PC (I have tons waiting to be stored on PC). When I go into MY PICTURES and send I can choose bluetooth and it tries to send but then it says TRANSFER FAILED. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Balde

OK here is how you do it.
1. UNINSTALL the Epox Bluetooth software.
2. Download and install the TDK software (tdk1.2.2.15.zip) from: http://www.tdksys.com/support/drivers/range.asp?id=1
3. You may have to reinstall the USB driver for the dongle. Use the CD that was included.
4. Here is the important part!
Open regedit.exe
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Servic es
Here there is a list of profiles supported by your PC
Find the one for 'Infomation Exchange'
Do this by looking in each folder.
For me, there were folders 0001 to 0007, and the one I was after was 0004. (You can tell because there is a value called 'Name', with data 'Information Exchange')
In this key, change the DWORD string 'AcceptOther' to hex value 1 - it is 0 by default.
Close regedit
5.
Make sure your devices are paired.
Do not open a serial connection.
Try sending from the phone...
Hope this works for you. It worked on my Epox Bluetooth dongle from Fry's.

Man, you just saved me a ton of cash. I was about to buy an Infrared adapter but now I can use my EPOX BT adapter. You are the greatest. I have one more question if you don't mind. Now that I can send from the phone to PC is there a way to set it up so I can go from PC to phone without losing the ability to send from the phone?
Thanks a million,
Balde

You should still be able to transfer from PC-Phone via a Bluetooth serial connection.

The New TDK Bluetooth Software recognized the EPOX as not a TDK bluetooth adapter.
It wants a TDK Licence Key #
Anyone care to share theirs so we can all update to the newest bluetooth software?
I don't know if the board moderators allow that type of thing to be posted here, if any could someone e-mail me a TDK Bluetooth Software license key? ( blue@cosmicclash.com )
