Hi I could not find how to get an unlock code for my phone (not the security code, the 4 diget unlock code) so I activated it, did *228 send, and it changed the code from unknown, to the last 4 of my phone number! yes!!

By default it's 0000, 1234, or the last four digits of your phone number.

yeah i just tried the *228 all i got was the roaming setup that was it and 0000 and 1234 didn't work on the soho

unlock means the service provider code (6 dig.) is "000000"
If you need to get at the security menu, its the last 4 digits of ur phone number. if you change it and cant remember do *228 option 1, this will set it to the last 4 dig of ur phone number, as long as the phone is activated (activate at verizonwireless.com)

I have a kyocera 2325 how do i unlock this phone is not active.

Hi, I know a bit more about phones then I did when I originally created this post at the beguinning of 2005, now im a phone technician. Do you mean unlock as in the 6 digit service provider code, or do you mean the 4 digit security code? if you go into "phone info" it should say the phone number that was last active- the code should be the last 4 digits. If not let me know and I can give you instructions how to pypass that and clear the code out.

this works on all CDMA phones that can be programmed by *228
