VX7000 Image Size/Upload

OK, I'm getting a little frustrated trying to upload wallpapers to the VX7000(BK). I'm aware of the screen sizes (Main-176x184 and Front-96x80), but am having the following problems:

* Using BitPim, using Add Wallpaper, the image is automatically resized to 176x184. This is fine for the main screen, but the image has bars next to it when used on the front screen. Trying to upload a 96x80 image still results in a 176x184 image on the phone.

* Using BitPim via the File System view, adding the image to the file system in the dnload\img folder and then deleting image.dat results in a broken image (yellow triangle with an exclamation point)

* Using BitPim via the File System view and overwriting an existing dummy image on the phone still yields only a broken image.

* Using QPST to do either of the above two file system uploads gives the same results as seen with BitPim.

I don't know what else to try! Has anyone successfully transferred any non-176x184 images to their VX7000 and if so, could you please tell me how? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have two programs to use with my VX7000. First for my wallpapers (front and back), calendar and phonebook i use a program called "Datapilot" by Susteen (i cannot go into details about how to get it but, i will tell you that it can be found on bearshear, limewire, kazaa lite k++ etc.). This program has the ability to change the picture to a more extent than bitpim. Also, for my ringtones, video and games (sometimes it works for the games, sometimes not) i use QPST explorer. QPST, if you don't already known can be found on this forum. If you have any other problems, hit me back.

Peace

will the vx6000 cable work with the vx7000?

yes the 6000 cable will work with the 7000...use bitpim to upload the 176 x 184 and use qpst to upload the 96 x 80 or use qpst to upload them both...
