Virgin to Verizon

Hey everybody. I have a Kyocera Slider SE 47 on Virgin Mobile, and I am considering going to Verizon. I was browsing through and noticed I could flash my phone to Verizon, but it seems really complicated. Will Verizon do it for me if I go to a store and free them of liability? Or do people do it for a fee? Thanks all, any suggestion is appreciated.

Verizon is no longer offering the slider phone in its lineup.
Even when they were...most folks posted here that stores would NOT flash a non-verizon phone.
But, a few were in the right place at that right time and got it done.
Also, since you are not a verizon customer now, you have no place to switch to...in other words part of the conversion process is registering your virgin slider phone with verizon, which you can't do without a verizon account. And you can't get a verizon account without a phone (I don't think).
Since you are NOT a verizon customer yet...here's your best bet:
Radio Shack is still selling the Slider with Verizon. As far as I know they are the only company doing this.
And the best part - a brand new Verizon Slider is only $49 with activation and a 2-year agreement.
