i have 2 devices:

A) a sidekick 2, under contract, i use for data only

B) my "power" phone, NOT under contract, with my phone main number

is there a way to use my MAIN phone number on my sidekick without losing all my data ?

if i just swap SIM cards, i won't be able to use the data on my sidekick, correct ?

also, i am Mac OSX based, which means i can't even get my data out via some sync solution

any ideas here ?

thank you,

stephen

ps i'm crossposting to the tmobile forum as well, apologies in advance

as for your first quesiton about using both at once with only one sim... you are correct, if your sims in the normal phone, the sk won't have any info or id to get onto the network or make calls..

err, never mind.... i'm confused..
hehe...

explain more.. meaning 2 sim cards (one in each device?) and use both simultaneously? or use your data plan form teh sk2 on your other phone?

hehe..
give us a bit more detail..

peace

If it is your SIM CARD addressbook u are worried about it will go over. As far as any other PIM functions go you will have tot ake them up by using the SK's desktop interface and having to DL intellisync for the device for 9.99 US

Keep in mind! You Can NOT put contacts form your SK II to the sim card. Not possible and never will be
